A few years back I was on a job and the lads had a commercial channel on day in/day out. Now that is traumatic, listening to them actually singing along to the adverts. I still get cold sweats over ‘Trade Centre Wales’ being sang in unison.

Agreed, i'm not one for the radio in work, i enjoy it being quiet, it gives me time to think. Radio 4 is great, as is radio 6. Smooth chill gets an airing quite often as well.

OK, let's all be honest here, who listens to TalkSport?

            The radio station for cuunts.

He didn't change with the times. All the messages he read out were from.people who "loved the show". He would always talk over the latter part of a song too. Very annoying.

It's the sports version of GB News.

Always think of Radio 2 as a compromise for everyone. It may not be everyone's first choice, but when played on site or in a doctors reception, it's something that most will tolerate.

Absolutely. Apart from BBC haters, or if a presenter gets on your nerves, or those with less middle of the road tastes, Radio 2 has a pretty broad appeal. It is the most listened to station. I would be surprised if someone like Sludge had any time for it with his love for metal, for example. I'm happier with Radio 3. But in terms of music, it does little wrong.

I was always a Radio 2 listener until the upheaval, starting the day with Ball’s show and ending it with Cox, those in charge were nuts and made right knobs of themselves.

They made a right knob of themselves regarding Cox and Ball, you say?

absolutely agree, old men bringing their teenage radio1 schtick to radio2, he drove me up the wall.
