  • Two major underlying problems

    Being out of your depth:
    • 90% of the squad don't belong at this level.
    • Bulut has no experience of Championship football - he's worked at a similar level in other countries but not this one.
    • The club hierarchy have no clue how to run a stable, mediocre (let alone successful) football club.

    Mistrust:
    • It appears the team do not trust the advice they get from the manager/coaches - we see enough evidence on the pitch that they are not playing to a plan, yet Bulut insists there is one.
    • Bulut doesn't trust his players to use their natural abilities to their best effect. He also doesn't trust the club hierarchy.
    • The club hierarchy don't trust any manager they bring in.

These problems have dogged us for years now. It's a recipe for a football club that is far more likely to crash and burn than progress up the leagues.

    Agreed with the thread opener.
The club is run by a despot who doesn’t trust his underlings. It’s Tan’s way only that has to be followed by his management team. And Vinnie knows nothing about running a successful team and is unwilling to learn or delegate.
