  • Jim Ratcliffe - Dan Ashworth

If the papers can be believed he will join Omar Berrarda new CEO from Man City.

I've previously said the Manager is the most important signing at a club,on reflection it's the CEO and football man responsible for the football structure and recruitment or players and Managers.

Surely every club owner should see this is the way forward?

The lines of credit and responsibility in football are unclear, so how can Manchester United put a value on a sporting director?

Newcastle might have expected to be stealing key figures from Old Trafford by now. Instead, Manchester United are showing that they still have enormous pulling power despite their fall

Ratcliffe been successful in vartious fields by surrounding himself by the right people. We've got Tan who doesn't trust anybody, thinks he knows it all but hasn't got a clue.

Ratcliffe hasn't got it immediately right at the clubs he has purchased.

He does learn from his mistakes. Tan does not.

It's daft surely in his retail businesses he hired the right people and had some success, then he gets Dalman and Choo to run the football side of the business?

Can't he see what mess he and they've made over most Management appointments, which has resulted in a massive overspend on mostly poor players?
