But chopped up they can be a good seasoning to stuff inside a joint (of meat)
I wish you hadn't put (of Meat) in. The thought of someone smoking Anchovies fills me with dread and intrigue both at the same time.....

They are great if you know what to do with them, and it's probably wise to ignore the uncouth among us.

Nothing nicer on holiday with a bottle of white wine and warm crusty bread

Buy them over here but it’s not quite the same

Anchovies are excellent bait for conger eels , rays and dogfish here in the Bristol channel

They taste like wire wool though

They come in cans. They're pretty easy to avoid and ignore. And they taste amazing on bread and in salad dressings and sauces.

By the way, it's capers that I worry about ....

I had to get into character this morning so as soon as I put my Liverpool shirt on and started thinking like a scouser, I totally got this! :hehe:

Mrs Citizen said they swim in shoals (she's vegan and only eats watercress).

Never watch the old Ealing comedies then, there were some wonderful capers in them.

Not true...I would not vote for them these days - or Labour...or Liberals.
Check what Reform is saying, and the independents.....that is where my vote would go.
