Robert Glatzel scored his second goal for Mainz on Sunday - in the first minute of their 2-1 victory at Hoffenheim.

Glatzel has mostly been used as a sub since signing for Mainz, but his performance in their 1-0 win against Freiburg a week ago was good enough to earn him a start against Hoffenheim despite him missing a couple of sitters in that game.

Sunday's victory lifted Mainz out of the Bundesliga relegation zone for the first time in many months.

Should be credited with an assist as well for the second goal. His renowned aerial threat pulling defenders away and creating the space for the goal scorer.
