I never really enjoyed his commentary, possibly because he was mostly Sid Waddel's summariser, and could never be as good as Sid.
Also thought he put throwers off on Bullseye by telling them the score after each dart, as it upset their rhythm. Maybe that was the ploy all along?
Still, T15, D20 is a good finish.

Always like to think that he retired to run a caravan park overlooking a decent sized boating lake where he could put to good use all the prizes that didn't get won.

About as condescending as Jim saying "good girl" when a woman got a question right (which was most of the time - they weren't exactly difficult questions on there)
