At a loose end...(!) Decided to watch Chesterfield v Boreham Wood......ground full. Always had a soft sport for Chesterfield since I went there to see them play City.

Wonderful counter attack by Wrexham ending in a cracking goal. The football hasn’t been great to be honest, not expecting it to be, but that move & goal was brilliant. Try and catch it somehow.

I watched Mansfield v Colchester not bad. It was a bit like watching us, trying to play neat and tidy football without capable players.

No there's nothing on until Ireland v Belgium. Why are they playing night games on a Saturday?

Warptching Newport at Barrow, bit of a farce because it’s blowing a gale - the commentator said nothing ruins a football game as much as a strong wind and I’d say he was right. 1=0 to Barrow, but Newport have the wind behind them now.

Chesterfield 3 - Boreham Wood 0.......100th league goal...and promoted as champions...great stuff... no melodramatics and arguing with refs....proper honest football.
