You know your opposition has lost the argument when they swing to the opposite extreme to justify the current extreme position, as if two extremes are the only option. For all the airtime and court time this is getting it is way, way, over the top, and an extreme reaction.

If you didn’t know what had happened, but was watching the news for the first time, anyone would think she had fallen asleep, he had undone her bra, flicked her nipples, caressed her lips with his balls, slipped her hot wet panties to the side of her crotch, licked her wool, and then she had suddenly woke up and caught him in the act.

Because he didn't instantly apologise for that poorly misjudged moment. We all make mistakes and misjudgement, some of us accept, apologise and learn and some of us blame the innocent party and claim it's all woke.
