McCarthy picked the wrong team. Three or four of the players on the bench are better than the ones playing. We are playing with too many players out of position. If Harris did this we would be slaughtering him.

To complete the debacle we should on no account make a subsistution before 70 minutes then only one. Then after they have got another goal bring Cowill Harris and Watters on for the last three minutes to gain some invaluable experience. Obviously Moore can only be subsistuted if he is half dead with exhaustion though it might be hard to tell as he doesn't appear to be moving now.

This game reminds me of one of our annual end of season collapses under Jones. The 6-0 defeat away to Preston in 2008/09 springs immediately to mind.

Also, this is as bad as anything we saw under Harris

Reach(?) goes down without being touched with any force by Ralls and wins a free-kick in their box. Jonny Williams gets kicked by a high boot from Patterson in their box and nothing given.

First incident was best bit of play by us with Williams and Sang linking up nicely.

Why did we sign Johnny Williams? He’s run around like a headless chicken, got no sense of ball control or position, physical lightweight, and just looks like we had to play him for an unknown reason. bit ironic Patterson scoring a really good goal. And to think we’ve got MM on contract omg!
