As my nearest league team I’ve watched Crawley a few times over the last couple of seasons. They have looked consistently bad and were everyone’s tip to go down this season. How Scott Lindsey (who many Swindon fans couldn’t wait to see the back of apparently) has come in brought in practically a new team mostly from non league and achieved this - and in style - is one of those remarkable and unusual stories.. I was at Wembley today and - along with the semi games I saw on tv - thought they were excellent for the level they are at. Tiny club with little resource though so no doubt they’ll be picked apart now. Be interesting to see if the manager gets a bigger job on the back of the exposure to the football style he’s managed to create.
