I'd go for the forgotten man Nigel Adkins who.wad once a big prospect he created a successful platform for Southampton. Intelligent, reported to have good man management , a physiotherapist. Would not cost a fortune .

I might be doing him a disservice but from what I can tell they just had their lowest league finish for 16 seasons.

hasbt he only been there since January? I think they were bottom when he took over, and since January they've been about the 7th best side
