What a joke, I can't see it working, but I suppose some do come off!

If he succeeds he will be in very good Kompany.

A joke? Why is it a joke. You think you’re better placed than the Bayern Munich hierarchy to decide if he’s a suitable candidate for manager?

You have to admit that it is a bit of an odd appointment.

What next? Chris Wilder to Borrusia Dortmund?

Before the Bayern interest materialised, a major staff overhaul was set to take place to freshen things up with goalkeeper coach Jelle ten Rouwelaar heading to Ajax and assistant manager Craig Bellamy also due to leave. Bellamy will not be joining Kompany in Germany and his future remains uncertain but Floribert Nguala (first-team coach) and Bram Geers (performance coach and session planner) are expected to be part of his backroom team in Munich

Wonder what Bellers has lined up ?

It’s very unexpected. I wouldn’t describe it as a joke.

Hasn't he has just got married again ?
His bride is starting her A levels this year which she wanted to do closer to home .:-)

Would be a great appointment as our manager, I know he said he didn't want it but things are always changing in life

He will have the respect of the players the minute he walks through the door.

It looks like I might be, there are much better Managers around than that, it's a top job?

There are two types of managers, those who achieved success as top players, and those who had to start at the bottom and get there through hard work (Klopp, Nagelsmann, etc).

Alonso adapted quickly but most don't deserve the top jobs so quickly.

Time will tell, but like I said he will have the respect of the players from Day 1, and that is important at a club like Bayern who will have a lot of big egos in the dressing room. If everything goes pear shaped, it can't be any worse than last year.

It's only a friendly, but Bayern are dominating Spurs. I wonder if a Bellamy team will play like this?
