  • Bale at Wrexham?

Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney says his offer for ex-Wales and Real Madrid star Gareth Bale to come out of retirement and join Wrexham remains on the table.

    One never knows.

When he says “it’s still on the table”, I presume he means “operating table” ?

What ever anyone thinks about the Wrexham story, it’s definitely been the ride of a lifetime for their fans so far, especially the younger ones.
There are plenty of Man U/Liverpool plastics in Sth Wales. It must be even more of a draw in North Wales, being closer.
All power to Wrexham and their owners for revitalising interest in local football, and me as a lifelong City supporter, hope they go from strength to strength
If it all crashes down, at least they’ve had some great times, and will always have the memories.

It's a great story the documentary is well made with lot's of little nice stories from local people to make them look like they really care about Wrexham, they've done an amazing publicity job.

Wheel him out for a free kick in the last minute of the last game where they need that goal for a point and promotion, he would score it, could you imagine !!!

Agreed the documentary is very well made. One of my favourites was in the first series when Wrexham fans were on a supporters coach travelling to a mid week away game near London which was a 3 hour journey there and back. It really summed up how deadicated football fans are and I am sure it would have been baffling to American watchers.

They are making a loss, they don't need to do this, i think they do genuinely

I like some of the back stories (I do fast forward the women's football bit though)
There was an interesting story about the photographer who never goes to games but enjoys walking around before the game starts as it helps his mental health
