As fans we hope for a lot and not least, individual players delivering improvement.

At the beginning of last season it was that Collins, O’Dowda, McGuinness and Colwill would produce the goods missing from the previous year and that Ramsey would play enough games to make an impact. For a variety of reasons they fell short. But that hope remains true for this season. Add to them Adams and Davis.

Seven existing players who have the potential to add much more next season.

I think Adams goes as soon as Derby offer around £350k.

Of that group MacGuiness Colwill probably the best hope for regular good contributions. I really hope Isaak has a positive impact but I seriously doubt he will get the opportunity with this manager.

I honestly think I’ve lost the will to go down there .

Unless they start off scoring goals for fun, I think I’ll stay in the pub (that’s if I’ve bothered to travel down to Canton)
