  • Who was there that Day ?

When we played England in the euros France 2016 .

A carnival atmosphere in and around Lens possibly me best away trip with Wales apart from the result !

Was in Paris at the fan park near the Eiffel Tower for this. Obviously enjoyed the Bale goal but not the end, made a sharp exit as couldn’t bear watching our neighbours celebrating. The hotel bar and a few beers eased the pain.

I was lucky enough to get to see one of the games but unlucky in that it was probably the worse we played prior to the semis. I'm referring to the Northern Ireland match. Great result and atmosphere but 2 teams that cancelled each other out.

I was there and that free kick is one of my favourite Wales memories. Was a sucker punch of an ending (especially as England just kept bringing on strikers till they scored) but it was the catalyst for the performances that came afterwards. Gunters 'chin up' gesture at the end to us was just what everyone needed.

Not sure we'll have days like that again for some time (seeing the Euros begin has brought out a particularly bad mood) but let's live in hope

My daughter's wedding took precedence in 2016.

2nd picture, lower tier, left hand edge, under the overhang of the upper tier. Somewhere in the blur.

I was in the McDonalds stand , a load of us had gone and Blue Tone got me tickets in a not so much corporate stand but a sponsors stand . Most of the English round me were great but one or two of them were absolute wankers when they knew me and my partner were supporting Wales.
We were looking directly onto the brilliant Welsh support .
I went to most of the qualifying games as well , after Euro 2016 I stopped going to watch Wales. I felt I was taking up a Welshmans place at the games.

I went to all the games this was the worst apart from the Portugal game.
Some of the England fans after the game were unbearable.
                    kants.

Top memories with good company Steve .
Someone mentioned Brussels on here recently and reminded me of the day we got of the tram/train in downtown Brussels.
I can still here the locals clinking the bottles saying "Warriors come out to play " even although we never saw a soul

                          I was.

                          We stayed in Ypre.

A very exciting match but a real kick in the guts to lose like that. Then again, Russia was next

Tel Aviv was the strangest, something I just can’t put my finger on about the place. Looking back it was quite unnerving, bomb curtains, political rallies in a pub, Gavin nearly arrested for taking a photo!!
