Therefore, I am looking forward to see the change in quality of players that he can bring in, and how much he learnt from last season to transform us from a boring mid table team into a potential promotion team.
I was hoping last season that he would notice that his defensive, no risk football resulted in more defeats, more goals being conceded and fewer goals being scored, than the more attacking, more entertaining football from the start of the season, even without Ramsey. Sadly he didn't and our football was mainly dour rubbish that saw us as one of the poorer sides over the last two thirds of the season.

Somehow I hope he'll realise that his negative tactics didn't work and he changes next season, regardless of who he brings in. I'm not holding my breath, but I can but hope. This isn't a moan about the boring football so much, more that the boring football wasn't successful.
