  • Paul Abbandonato

Some interesting comments from him in this podcast - apparently, we spoke to other managers during May, the Rowberry deal isn’t a certainty, the club feel there needs to be some Championship experience in the coaching staff and he makes it sound like Bulut turned up last year thinking that the Championship would be a bit of a doddle.

This notion that Bulut must be something special because Fenerbahce employed him for around eight months is baffling. Other recent Fenerbahce mangers include Ersun Yanal, Vitor Pereira and Ismael Kartal. Ever heard of any of those before? I haven't.

Well no because I'm not Turkish, do you think their fans have heard of Steve Morison

Vítor Manuel de Oliveira Lopes Pereira is a Portuguese football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is the head coach of Saudi Pro League club Al Shabab. Following an amateur playing career, he became manager of Porto, where he won the Primeira Liga in both of his seasons.

No. Of course not. Which underlines my point.

Abbandonato and the host were saying Bulut must have something about him because Fenerbahce employed him and have recently employed Jose Mourhinho. The suggestion was they only employ people who are top drawer. The truth is quite different.

Well Googled. Good work. No doubt Turkish fans are Googling Steve Morison as we speak.

I was about to post the same

Some views I disagree with so far on this video (about half way through). Some are just daft.

Paul Abbandonato said a lot of words without saying much at all.

I'm at the point where PA is asking if Drameh would be a good fit for an Erol Bulut team, after spending 5 minutes saying Cardiff should be more adventurous next season (and that Bulut has a more adventurous side just waiting to be unleashed). I've paused it there cos I'm wondering if it's worth continuing, so he might clear that up later on.

Conte, on the other hand, a midfielder for 99.9% of his Cardiff career, could do a job at right back instead.

No sure the last time Wales on line or any of it's reporters had a scoop either with a news item or getting the first interview - they seem to regurgitate their own articles or that of others

No idea. Erol Bulut's Argentinian cousin?

Just listened to this Podcast. Am I the only one who was shocked about the obsession that the presenter appears to be have with the likelihood of Premier teams fighting over Perry Ng? Now, I love Perry - but really? Fair play to the way Abbandonato dealt with it. Very courteous.

He also appears to think that the midfield should be built around Siopis.

Apart from that, not a bad interview, an enjoyable listen.

According to Walesonline, Rowberry is definitely not re-joining the club’s coaching staff.
