    Re: Glastonbury

Lankum on at 6pm if you like modern Irish folk music. I'm not fussed about modern Irish folk music, but I do like Lankum.

The Wokie W@nkers Festival these days! I remember when it was a damn good festival in the 1980s. I could see by '86 the way it was going and by '89 I'd had enough. I still get misty eyed about it though when it was a good fessie, and the Stonehenge Free Festival too

This is everything that is wrong with Glastonbury today. What on earth is wrong with getting out of your tree and chewing your own face off?

            I don't think have never been to a bad concert/ festival ..
I am not sure the festival atmosphere/ sound transfers to the TV .

We did think ..Oh dear, Oh dear ...listening to Cindy Lauper. Hopefully it was a little better/ more atmospheric for the punters at the festival.

Glastonbury caters for everybody. If you don't like Jo Wicks there are loads of other stages doing something else including loads for getting out of your tree and chewing your own face off.

Thats wonderful, but even the people that don't drink and do drugs, surely they aren't there to exercise? They just joined in because of who it is. Nobody goes to a festival and thinks "oh better get my steps in today"

Cindy Lauper is touring next year - guess she's not on your list of potential gigs 🙂

Paul Heaton was decent, though I went to see him in Cardiff castle on Wednesday

It might not be your thing but it's clearly popular with an element who go to festivals. There's also a festival fun run for those even more energetic.

                              Festival run? bloody hell.

It's not really to do with it being my thing or not, I just couldn't get my head around why someone, even sober, would go to a festival to exercise.

The festival has changed so much since I last went 20 years ago…bit like football. It’s bland and boring now and the music is shite
