Re: Love stuff like this.
I was fascinated by the double sided stand and that stand at Enfield was great on the inside.Originally posted by Swiss Peter View PostEnjoyed that! His No. 1 is the only one I've been to though. Love the art deco at Enfield, and I'm told that a match at Clapton is worth a visit.

Same. At some point in my life i'd like to take a season to go to as many non league grounds as possible, as much for the travelling, people, etc the quirks and all that. I probably wont ever do it, but it's on my list(even though i don't have a list....Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostI was fascinated by the double sided stand and that stand at Enfield was great on the inside.

Wasn't that "d'you want some. I'll give it ya" bloke at some non-league ground? I think Clapton has a hipster following now, so you can probably discuss things like the best Ethiopian restaurants in the area.:hehe:Originally posted by Tuerto View PostSame. Yup, Wealdstone United. Apparently, Dulwich Hamlet are a bit 'Leftie' attract a middle class crowd, fine with me, good food on offer as well, although it would have some on here spitting feathers. Peckham fc are a great story, started by one bloke in the eighties who begged borrowed and a bit of the other. They've advanced through the leagues and are still very close to their community. The bloke that founded them is still there as well. Some fascinating people involved at grass roots football, some nutters as well :hehe:Originally posted by Swiss Peter View PostWasn't that "d'you want some. Isn’t Bluebird Jones of 80s/90s fanzine fame involved at Dulwich Hamlet? Loved that Viz like fanzine, 70s Man and all that. A few years back he had an exhibition of his City etchings at the Andrew Buchan pub on Albany Rd, enjoyed looking through them.Originally posted by Tuerto View PostYup, Wealdstone United. Re: Love stuff like this.
He's definitely involved with Peckham FC, there's a thing on YouTube about the club. I wouldn't be surprised if he is involved in Dulwich Hamlet, it's in his neck of the woods, just a stone throw from Brixton.Originally posted by splott parker View PostIsn’t Bluebird Jones of 80s/90s fanzine fame involved at Dulwich Hamlet?
