  • TV ARE WE MUGS?

Repeat after Repeat, too many channels, and now we have a BBC Subsidiary, UKTV changing the names of channels, Dave ( what a ridiculous name) changing to U&Dave. The mind boggles..

While Dave might be a ridiculous name for a channel, it's been one of the more successful away from the main terrestrial channels since that rebrand happened.

I like the channel Dave. Decent fallback for some old stuff.

The day we get rid of the BBC is the day I jump off a cliff

The crap TV and garbage adverts on the other channels drives me insane

 With you all the way on this. The more adverts there are increases the cost of living. Robert de Niro, Samuel L Jackson etc aren’t doing ads for bladders, who’s paying, we are. I’m quite content paying a one off licence fee.

Dave was inspired branding. Dave Ja Vu for the +1 channel, even better.

But why change "Dave" to "U&Dave" ??

Pointless rebrand, as far as I can see.

Plenty seem to. I'm coming up to 52, and in my experience some people turn into boring old farts, although i actually think that they were probably boring farts in their 20's.
