Re: Girondans de Bordeaux.
I was in their club shop just over a week ago and they had no idea about 24/25 kit and had a lot of 23/24 kit left - pretty much every size. Real shame they’ve gone, they’ve been under a cloud for last few months over financial irregularities but I don’t know the detailOriginally posted by the other bob wilson View Post

When this is happening to big clubs it's time to admit football has a major problemOriginally posted by Q View PostI was in their club shop just over a week ago and they had no idea about 24/25 kit and had a lot of 23/24 kit left - pretty much every size. Re: Girondans de Bordeaux.
Although I agree with you entirely on footballs problems, it's nothing new for it to happen to big clubs really. The greater the sums involved the greater the risk etc. Bordeaux latest in a line of clubs over many years including before the satellite TV/champions league big bang of the early 90sOriginally posted by Dorcus View PostWhen this is happening to big clubs it's time to admit football has a major problem

Re: Girondans de Bordeaux.
The irony is, that the more money 'ploughed' into the top of football, the poorer these clubs become. Everton now £1 billion, and 'well-run' Brighton, the model for all clubs, £300million in debt.Originally posted by JamesWales View PostAlthough I agree with you entirely on footballs problems, it's nothing new for it to happen to big clubs really.
