  • Wednesday v Argyle

Wednesday show how a positive attacking approach reaps dividends.

Their elder statesman midfielder showing more energy and guile than ours.

Argyle look like Cardiff City in green. Totally ineffective.

If Wednesday see this out at 3-0 or better we will climb out of the bottom three on alphabetical order.

      4 - 0

That was a million dollar performance to the tuppence ha'penny crap we saw yesterday.

What possessed Argyle to appoint Rooney as manager? . I have rarely seen such an inept player as the loan signing Tijani up front. Argyle looked like a parks side!

they really struggled at the end of last season too, I think they have to be one of the favourites to go down.

presumably we are playing them on boxing day

Sheff Wed ... what a joy to watch. Simple attacking football: they got to the byeline over 20 times in today's game. No inverted wingers anywhere to be seen.

Where is Dave Bennett and Willie Anderson when you need them?

Sheffield Wednesday were playing a hopeless team managed by Wayne Rooney.

              We were playing Sunderland.

              No comparison.

Irrespective of the opposition, I was making a statement about how Sheff Wed were set up and their desire to turn Plymouth's defence at every opportunity.

Sunderland finished just five points ahead of Plymouth last season and six points behind City. There’s nothing to suggest they’re a very good side (although they definitely have some good players).

The goal differences of the three sides last season are just bonkers:

                    - 17 for Cardiff in 12th
                    - 2 for Sunderland in 16th
                    - 11 for Plymouth in 21st

Plymouth conceded 70 Championship goals in 2023/24. So did City. Freak season.

Plymouth were strong second favourites for relegation before a ball was kicked and their price has shortened after today’s battering.

I think the weekend showed why Plymouth and ourselves are one of the favourites for relegation.

Their elder statesman are fit and have a positive mindset and can pass a ball forward

                              I give up.

Feel sorry for Rooney , that was embarrassing.
