Kpakio is not ready to play fullback from what I have seen. Looks a long way off being good enough for that position.

The u21s have a game Wednesday so that might be a factor.

Alnwick; Conte, MFW, Chambers, Bagan; King, Rinhomota, Colwill; Tanner, Kanga, Evans

(That's my guess rather than what I want - hopefully Robertson starts).

Young players on the cusp of the first team playing in their usual positions would be nice, and maybe even if one or two impress they might find themselves in the squad on the weekend. Asking too much I suspect. Fully expect something like Rinomhota at right back and King at center back.

Did you watch any of the pre season games? He was one of the real standout performers I thought?

I saw a couple of pre season games. He looks like he could be a player but far from first team ready especially at full back. There are others like King, Davies, Giles who are more ready imo.

I think you're right, though. It'll probably be an entirely different starting eleven.

I think it needs to be a mix although looking at other cup games it’s probably going to be a mad mix of random midfielders.

Conte Colwill Ashford

Kanga

Shirley, all these players play for Cardiff, so they can’t play for Rovers as well ?
