  • Michael Reindorf

Pretty aure Welshlad posted a link to this story when we signed him, but i thought it worth reposting in light of how he played on Tuesday.

I've seen some calling for him to start today, that seems a step too far for me, but, especially given our injuries to forwards, maybe a place on the bench isn't out of the question -the article also shows he's a versatile player which always helps when selecting who will be a substitute.

Get him on the bench and bring him on when we’re losing. What harm can it do?

Plenty of 19-year-olds get thrown into the Championship. Let’s av it

I appreciate your knowledge on this but I much preferred seeing the effort of Reindorf for 30 mins than anything I saw from Kanga

A forward who has the stamina to go 90 minutes, a bit of a rarity at the City these days. Although Karlan Grant's stamina level was fairly good.

If we are going to press from the front I would 100% start him. I dont see what we have to lose.

He will at least press and add some energy up front.

We are hardly spoiled for choice.

I also think McGuinness has to start. I think what little chances we get will be from a set play. Last Saturday we were hopeless as the tactic was just aim for Goutas and we were so easy to defend. I think he has to partner Goutas - but I doubt he will.

Stamina and effort is all well and good, but it's also nice to see some genuine skill from time to time. Straight after coming onto the pitch on Tuesday Reindorff dribbled past two or three Rovers players. I don't know about a starting spot but he looks like he can create opportunities so I'd certainly have him on the bench.

It wasnt just the workrate, he was prepared to take on and beat defenders, a rare sight in a city shirt.
