I fitted many fire doors to that place, it was close to 30 years ago, so might have been changed again

Could provide an opportunity to replace the dome with a Reichstag style glass dome, would be a good way of getting more people in.... assuming this fire doesn't affect the buildings structure too badly.

They’ve just spent a year or so working on the roof too.....not sure if it’s linked but the fire was accessed by ripping tiles off the dome, not from inside. Glad it’s ok as the kids love the place
