    Speculation from me.

    Don't see the logic otherwise.

Other option Chambers moves further up

You've been a little bit naughty there, by omitting the all-important "If" at the beginning of the the sentence.

I've seen speculation on twitter about Ng going to PNE, it all seems to stem from one anonymous twitter account with 12 followers and 10 posts, all of which are transfer rumours that didn't happen

Maybe Bulut has identified NG and O’Dowdo are better ‘wing backs’ than ‘full backs’, and wants to play 3-5-2 ?

I'd like to see us play 3-5-2 - but surely it would have been good to at least try it out once in pre season if that was the plan?

I've got a baby in one arm and its difficult to type!

I can't see any of Chambers, Fish or Daaland be happy to sit on the bench so it's either someone goes, or we're changing formation to something we've seen probably once since he's been here.

NG scored a couple of freekicks that were absolute pearlers (great muscle-memory!). He also had the knack of getting into the right position to score some very important goals for us.
Coupled with that time when our 'keeper was sent off and he immediately signalled to the manager he wanted to take over in goals - well, his stock really skyrocketed.

However, despite all the accolades he's received, I'm not totally convinced by his defensive prowess.

Completely agree, he's average at best when a winger runs directly at him. Which we will see Ronald do again on Sunday much like last season.

Hes not going to increase any more in valuation.

                          Surely it's a no brainer

ODowda yes, personally don’t see NG as being a good option at wing back. If he wants to play 3 at the back surely it makes more sense to have moved NG to right CB and brought in a pacey wing back rather than another CB.

                              Very true….but 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 doesn’t seem to be working atm….let’s see.

When was the last time 4-2-3-1 seemed to work?
