What an excellent account of the surreal bubble experience and the game itself. Absolutely superb. Ten out of ten, sir.Originally posted by ninian opinian View Post

Tried emailing him, as he’s factually wrong on several things.
Hope he’s reading this board, as here is what I tried to send him.
Good Morning Daniel,
Just read your report about your experiences travelling to Abertawe Town on Sunday to watch the local derby.
Please, please, please, when reporting items like this, could you possibly get all the facts in place, before putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard)
Not every coach had to travel from CCS, at a given time. There were lots of us, who run coaches independently from all over South Wales.
I myself organised two, one from the Aneurin Bevan, in Birchgrove and one from the Napier in Canton. Both pubs were open at 9.00am to make sure fans throats were well oiled.
Also, fans from West Wales can travel directly IF they make the effort to contact the club.
Hope you enjoyed the horrible experience, as I don’t go to this fixture, it’s my own mini boycott, against the way it’s organised.
Cheers
Tony Jefferies

That's a fair summary ?
Now I don't think the trains and general independent travel thing will ever be brought back in .....clashes at train stations , city centre etc .....
But a looser arrangement and the ridiculous 1130 rendezvous for a 3 pm kick off ?
Well that's just pathetic

1pm for a 3 pm kick off ? Well that's still absolutely stupid ......and that's your lot
The main lot are outside Swansea for 1130
If you think that's acceptable then that's fine but then why are you boycotting the bubble ?

The reasons I am boycotting are,
1) the pricing structure
2) The amount of fans that Abertawe allow to travel
3) it’s not my kind of “day out”
Personally I think if they were to allow fans to travel by train/car, there would be carnage !
Not from football fans, but from the idiots on the fringe.
Will it happen, I sincerely hope not

Re: Article on Sundays bubble match
Hi Sludge. The thing we have to realise is that this is the last bubble still operating not just in the UK, bit in Europe. The others that, it could be argued carried no more or no less risk than this fixture have been lifted: Burnley/Blackburn; Newcastle/Sunderland; Bristol/Cardiff as examples.Originally posted by SLUDGE FACTORY View PostThe vast majority have to travel on bubble coaches and meet the police several hours before kick off

The freedom of movement of Football Fans should be something we should all be striving to attain. Like Tony, i run coaches to away games and was firmly on the side of Boycotting it. The EFL and Cardiff City firmly are for lifting restrictions, Swansea were against it and i would wager that is because they can sell more tickets to their fans due to the restrictions in our allocation.
If it is not lifted next season, City will not take any tickets. I think the EFL will work on ensuring Swansea play ball.

Thanks for Sunday Mike, even though you were AWOL:hehe: If restrictions are ever lifted how about a weekend down there, Fri-Mon should cover all eventualities re. kick off times. :hehe:Originally posted by Sloop_Jon_Bee View PostHi Sludge. Re: Article on Sundays bubble match
A friend of mine who is a Jack lives in Cathays and was refused an exemption last season, had to drive to the Liberty to board a bus and return there after the game. It is no where near as simple as contacting the club for an exemption as the police limit numbers on themOriginally posted by BLUETIT View PostTried emailing him, as he’s factually wrong on several things.
