How can you have season ticket entry for free?

We are one of the cheapest season tickets in the championship.

Be careful what you wish for... Five pound entry for next season's league cup games, but the season tickets have increased by £100
Thankfully Ashley Williams is gone….lets hope ‘Nashy’ is next! ;)

One of my best mates has a season ticket at Old Trafford (met him at Uni in Manchester, he’s an actual Manc). Far from being included, he has to buy every cup ticket to keep his season ticket.

To the best of my knowledge, it’s not been Wayne Nash outon the pitch going through the motions in so many of our Cup games since 2012 and it’s not been Wayne Nash picking sides that can, at best, be described as experimental in Cup ties for the past dozen years.

Some season ticket holders get the fixture free, although I know they pay a premium. https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news...-southampton-0

“Diamond and Premier Lounge Season Ticket Holders will have their ticket included in the seasonal package”.

Mind it’s a load of nonsense that the poor attendance has anything whatsoever to do with Nash.

Did I read boro had 17,000 v Stoke? If so that’s pretty impressive for them. Be lucky if we get 5000 home fans

Yeah they're sold differently, I think they're covered as hospitality and it's the reason they give out free programmes etc to cover it off.

I'm pretty sure you've got this wrong. If anything as suggested by someone else above, some "big clubs" make you take additional packages for cup games ahead of the season even starting.

Are you able to show example of a club who include it? I'm genuinely curious because I've always been told it's impossible. The exception is hospitality packages/season tickets. If there are clubs doing it they must be offsetting the cost back to the away team in some way.

Meanwhile, we are voted best away day experience by visiting fans!
Like I said….just my opinion, but the atmosphere is dead, and everything is so sanitised for the home fans these days….i hate it.
Got to say I disagree with your take on most of these. I doubt anybody's not turning up because they've got to open their zip on arrival, there's no reason to not be in your correct block at a home game (also I've seen a lot of people get moved, never seen someone thrown out), vaping's not allowed in the stadium, I'd bet most people would agree with that, we don't want a face full of blueberry bubble gum smoke or whatever when we're watching the football.

Low attendances are because of shite football, poor results and team selection, nothing more than that

Although you wouldn't be surprised if it was.

                        Re: Wayne Nash

Our cup performances have been a shambles.

Our fans lack of appetite for these games though is deeper than that.

In 2011 with the fa cup run a recent memory we met Huddersfield in the 2nd round of the league cup. The mere 6800 in attendance saw a 8 goal thriller and within months we were taking tens of thousands to Wembley.

If we spawned through a round or two playing awfully and then drew Man U at home the stadium would be full.

I think they could make the prices even cheaper, particularly with the kids still being off but I'm not really sure what else. Our fan base as a whole is just a bit flakey for the cups matches in particular.

Explain what you mean by “goading” away fans ?

CCFC and a lot of other clubs could offer free entry to the Southampton game and other such fixtures in the early rounds of the cup competitions and the crowds would still be poor

It's just the way it is
