I just don’t get it. Sings a bit, strums a bit. Might be the Saturday night artiste at the local Con. club and get mildly clapped. But the guy is a billionaire in the same way as Kylie Minogue is. The difference is Kylie can’t sing and as far as I know can’t strum. Amazing what the right marketing can do!

It's the same with Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters. An average at best guitarist, and average at best vocalist, and an average at best songwriter. Yet he can fill out the Principality Stadium

Dave Grohl is a multi talented musician

Bass , guitar , drums , keyboards , the guy can do it all

The early foo fighters albums were superb

But they have been so so or foo foo for 15 years

John Paul Jones was a multi talented musician but he and Led Zep were past their sell by date when they ended

Not that I give an actual Shit Delm, and I do know what you mean about some people on here, people are only giving their opinion, they're not speaking for anyone else or telling others who like Ed Sheeran that they shouldn't. Just thought I'd clear that one up👍

Some of our players are on thousands a week. Some bang average premier league players are hundreds of thousand a yr.
If I were you I’d be having a go at them before The musicians.

So was Paul McCartney a multi instrumentalist, that doesn't mean to say I have to like the Beatles and Wings though does it? Grohl is probably at best average at all the instruments he can play. There are probably loads more out there if I was think of it. Oh yeah, the late great Andy Fraser, bassist with the greatest rock band of them all, could also play guitar, mellotron and drums too. He appeared on Eno's 'The Kings Lead Hat' playing drums. As well as playing the three aforementioned instruments while in Free.
