Re: Joyless.
The only thing I would disagree with Bob is Leeds were hardly ordinary, looked like they were from a different league to us first half , their passing and movement was excellent as they carved us open time and time again .
We are lost at the moment , its unlikely Bulut can turn it round from here.

Re: Joyless.
I agree with that, Jimmy. Leeds looked a team full of natural ability by this division’s standards. Definitely one of the better sides we’ll play this season.Originally posted by Jimmy the Jock View PostThe only thing I would disagree with Bob is Leeds were hardly ordinary, looked like they were from a different league to us first half , their passing and movement was excellent as they carved us open time and time again .
However, they also looked lethargic, complacent and even lazy at times. Their fans were getting increasingly frustrated with their nonchalance during the second half and I could fully understand that. It was as if they were messing around at times before Piroe came on.

Re: Joyless.
Leeds’ finishing was atrocious though, carved us open a few times or they tried an extra pass or touch before pulling the trigger. Special mention to Jak Alnwick, certainly our man of the match if not man of the match as a whole. To be stitched up by Chambers was heartbreaking especially after his penalty save gave us a glimmer working on the adage that you still are in with a shout at 0-1.Originally posted by Jimmy the Jock View PostThe only thing I would disagree with Bob is Leeds were hardly ordinary, looked like they were from a different league to us first half , their passing and movement was excellent as they carved us open time and time again .

Daniel’s in Seoul at the moment and he’s saying that the news there is that Bulut has been sacked. They are 8 hours ahead of us though:hehe:

The second half was a bit strange , we knew we were going to get beat , they knew we were going to get beat, no animosity between the fans , the crowd and the players sleep walking to the final whistle .Originally posted by The Lone Gunman View PostI agree with that, Jimmy. I'm 7 hours ahead of you. I was contemplating breaking the news to you, but I think it's better you find out yourself in due course. :hehe:Originally posted by splott parker View PostLeeds’ finishing was atrocious though, carved us open a few times or they tried an extra pass or touch before pulling the trigger. Re: Joyless.
Indeed. The only genuine animosity was shown by the Leeds fans to their own team for not putting City away as they so easily could and should have done.Originally posted by Jimmy the Jock View PostThe second half was a bit strange , we knew we were going to get beat , they knew we were going to get beat, no animosity between the fans , the crowd and the players sleep walking to the final whistle .
Strange day yesterday. Even the atmosphere in the pub beforehand was downbeat. It seemed like nobody really believed we’d give Leeds a game.

10 minutes in and I took Paddypowers softening 8/13 .Bet of the day was Birmingham 11/10.Originally posted by The Lone Gunman View PostIndeed. The only genuine animosity was shown by the Leeds fans to their own team for not putting City away as they so easily could and should have done.

There is something relaxing about knowing you are unlikely to trouble the opposition.

Re: Joyless.
I was scathing about our attitude when we were at home to Leicester and Leeds last season, but I would say that Leeds team impressed me more than yesterday’s did - they were many people’s choice as Champions this season, but I think they’ll have to play a fair bit better than that to get automatic promotion and yet we could have had no complaints if we’d lost 4-0 yesterday.
