Personally I think we needed a clean break from all Buluts coaching staff and things won't go well.

I've literally no idea what they will do.
Get the senior players and existing coaching staff together and devise a plan, he'll probably get closer to 100% as everyone has something to prove to the fans and the next Manager.

Agreed God knows what that will look like in the form of structure or the selections!

      Online Fan polls in order

      Nathan Jones
      Ryan Giggs
      Stephan Schumacher

I'd go along with those three too.

"Cardiff hierarchy fans of Alexandersson, and did consider him, but thinking seems to be that now is not time. Club working through shortlist. Plenty of interest but, as it stands, in no rush. Riza could hold fort until int break"

Neither do Tan, Dalman or Choo.

So, they’re going to take a few weeks to make the wrong decision rather make one straight away :hehe:

It's understood CEO Ken Choo is likely to take the lead on this latest search, with Mehmet Dalman likely to take more of a supporting role having played a big part in the appointment of Bulut. Tan, however, will still have the final say on what happens next.

The current plan, it is understood, is for Omer Riza to lead the side until the next international break while the club take stock, assess their options, review the applications and draw up a shortlist. Winless Cardiff have Hull City, Millwall and Bristol City before the next international break.

But should Riza turn Cardiff's fortunes around over the next few weeks, the prospect of him taking the job until at least the end of the season cannot be ruled out.

One thing's for sure, it could take some time before we receive any real clarity.

Not Mark Hughes then, according to that.

Pah! It would be too easy to reel in Rodgers or Potter. Let's push the boat out and go for Roberto " he's justa gay Spanish waiter" Martinez, and show the footballing world that we really mean business :hehe:

I think you do know what they will do. They are giving it to riza if he can get those 7 points in the 5 games.

10/1 for him to last 10 games isn’t a bad bet.

Not a no, not a yes, a maybe you never know, from him, and dropped right out of the bookies odds.

Highly-rated Championship boss speaks out amid Cardiff City job links.

Highly-rated head coach Des Buckingham has admitted there have been approaches for his services after achieving promotion with Oxford United, amid reports he is on Cardiff City's radar.

The Bluebirds are once again looking for a new manager following the sacking of Erol Bulut at the weekend amid a winless run which sees Cardiff bottom of the league after six games.

Amid links to Cardiff, when asked on a BBC podcast whether he thought he would still be Oxford boss at the end of the campaign, he replied: “I don’t think that’s sometimes in my hands. I think I’m sitting just under the top third of managers still in their jobs when I was appointed last November, which shows how volatile this career path can be.
