  • Freyr Alexandersson a posibility?

Freyr Alexandersson did a good job keeping Tan's Belgian outfit up last year and has promotions with a couple of Scandinavia teams.

He might not be what we want - but might very well be what we get as our next manager. Here's an interesting analysis of his play style before he joined Kortrijk.

Explore Freyr Alexandersson's tactical approach at KV Kortrijk in this in-depth analysis. Discover how the Icelandic coach's possession-based system and high-pressing strategy have transformed the Belgian club's playing style. Well to be fair...The men's coaches we've had have not been much good.

Surely the hierarchy must realise by now something has to give. They need to get this appointment right. Right for the team, right for the fans, right for now and right for the future. It's time to stop half-assing it.

He’s got form on taking a team deep in the relegation shite and keeping them up twice in two European top leagues, which is what we immediately need and also exactly the kind of hire we’ve made over and over again the last 7-8 years.

I look forward to the inevitable 3 year extension and his firing sometime around this time next year after a shit start.

I think the problem is the hierarchy - with the current structure and interference in place the ‘right’ manager wouldn’t touch us with a barge pole.

95% of the time the manager selection is pot luck.

Look how many managers were destined for bigger and better things throughout the leagues and have ended up on the scrapheap. Even the biggest team on the planet Man Utd cannot get it right.

Who get it right more often than not? Brighton? That’s pretty much it.

95% is absolute cobblers. Many clubs consistently hire good managers. Lots of clubs have clear, aligned strategies and follow them. Other clubs, don't and are scattergun, and then there's us

KV Kortrijk wenst te reageren op de foutieve berichtgeving in de media als zou onze coach, Freyr Alexandersson, de oversteek maken naar Cardiff City.

Club (our one!) gauging fan reaction or just absolute rubbish to start with?
