John Carver

I heard a story today linking the club with John Carver, currently assistant to Steve Clarke, manager of Scotland. He (Carver) has plenty of experience, though mainly as assistant or interim manager. Not sure if there's anything in it, but the story goes that our Steve Borley has already spoken with him. Make of it what you will.

Hopefully nothing in it. Probably better than Bulut though.

I remember him playing for us. He was feckin useless.

He's obviously done well as a coach though.

The only Carver I can remember was DAVE Carver, a fullback from the Scoular era. My memory of him was a capable player. I don’t recall a John Carver, when did he play for us?
