How does Meite and Kanga figure before Reindorff?. Even if he doesn’t score goals every game I have not seen a lone striker with an engine like this boy. He deserves his chance now.

Re: Reindorff
I don’t think anyone knows the answer to that, Ashford should have come on before Meite tooOriginally posted by pomeroy View PostHow does Meite and Kanga figure before Reindorff?. Re: Reindorff
There will be reasons why he's not playing, But he should get his chance, and soon. From the little I have seen of him, he has energy, high intensity, and he can play a bit, he can finish as well by the sounds of things, but obviously he's not been tested at a higher level where chances are slim and reactions have to be quicker. I only saw him play against Bristol Rovers, and he impressed, but if people think that he can go out from the start with that level of intensity, then they're mistaken. I understand that he was put on in that game to add energy within a limited time, so I wouldn't think that he plays like that for a full 90, and he certainly wouldn't be able to play like that for a full 90 as a lone striker at Championship level.
He reminds me a little of Cameron Jerome when he first hit the scene for us, mature beyond his years and prepared to put himself about, different kind of players but the attitude and will to get involved seems to be there. He could be one of those players where a goal gets him flying, a bit like it did with Jerome, and his progress is quick. I'd like to see him given an opportunity, even if it for 30 minutes to start with. It wouldn't be an easy task for him, we don't create much, especially from central areas, and I'm hoping the club wouldn't want to ruin him. Gentle inclusion is the key for me.

Re: Reindorff
Agreed I've heard that comparison before and although it's early he seems to have similar desire and aggression, I'd like to see him come on and get at least 20 mins to see how he does to start with.Originally posted by Tuerto View PostThere will be reasons why he's not playing, But he should get his chance, and soon. Played well again for the u21s yesterday. Scored one and worked hard all game. Hit the bar with a chip from distance after chasing down the defender and winning the ball near the end - about 2 hrs 4 mins in https://www.youtube.com/live/9jYl_ZS-7kc?feature=shared

At the moment I could be ahead of Meite and Kanga in the pecking order, if it’s just about desire and commitmentOriginally posted by Tuerto View PostThere will be reasons why he's not playing, But he should get his chance, and soon. I think you’re right about the careful introduction, but I hope he’s on the bench on Sunday ahead of that pair.
Maybe Meite took Reza at his word when he said he’d be happy with a 1 0 win last night 🤔
In his defence at least he got in a position to potentially score, the other one looks like he belongs on a pitch in Pontcanna on a Sunday morning

Re: Reindorff
I watch the U21s when I can, and he was brilliant against Ipswich yesterday.
He had three boys closing him down constantly, which to me is a great sign of respect.
For that reason though, he'll never be a prolific goal scorer, but will bring others in to the game, as was apparent yesterday.
He and Colwill play a similar game, but each have their own qualities.

If he's good enough get him in the side NOW

Re: Reindorff
When you're an interim manager hoping to get the job permanently, I can understand why you'd lean more towards experienced players, and maybe be more hesitant to play (relatively) untried youngsters.
However, I'd give him 30 mins in the league on the simple basis that he genuinely can't be any worse or ineffective than Meite or Kanga.

Re: Reindorff
That's some superb play. Love to see him brought on more. If he gets a senior goal early in the season, he could really kick on.Originally posted by Undercoverinwurzelland View PostPlayed well again for the u21s yesterday.
