"Vincent tans preferred candidate is ryan giggs" @paulabbandonato
Re: "Vincent tans preferred candidate is ryan giggs" @paulabbandonato
I just searched oddschecker with the intention of having a sneaky few £ on him at silly odds, but couldn't find listed anywhere.
Hopefully that means there's no truth in the story whatsoever.
OK within the last ten mins several city pages I follow on Facebook and Twitter have just posted this.
Thoughts?
The lack of shock for me is that after two weeks of sacking bulut we appear no closer to choosing a manager and will lurch into our next game under prepared
People can rip riza a new one, blame it on the bulut or any of the other gazillion managers we've had but the blame lies with the decision makers and I have no faith in any of the three stooges to get the next appointment anywhere near right and will find ourselves in the same position anytime soon - what they know about football could be written on the back of a stamp with a chunky crayon

[QUOTE=Father Dougal;5545754]But TOBW even started another thread while he was watching the podcast reporting the same. Odd indeed![/QUOTE
Here's the podcast, it's well worth a look at if you have the time, but, if you don't, it's around the 35 minute mark.
Vincent Tan was at the game with Manchester United in 2013 when Giggs came on as sub and would have heard and witnessed the very hostile reception he got - did he just ignore it or didn't he realise that all the booing was directed at Giggs?
Now, anyone in favour of Giggs for City manager will say that was eleven years ago and attitudes towards him have changed. They might be right when it comes to the majority of City fans, but they're not with me, in 2013 I thought the reaction to him was over the top because I always thought that him not playing in Wales friendlies was far more down to his club manager than him. However, in the intervening years, there have been revelations regarding Giggs the person which mean I would not want him at my club and I strongly suspect that the large majority of City fans.
Sorry, but this just comes across as more evidence of the Manchester United bias among the trio making the decisions at the top of the club and, in my view, only reinforces the view that they don't know enough about the game, especially at Championship level.
