would our squad be better suited to 3-5-2?
I thought about it in the summer and the main negative to that would be that there wouldn't be an obvious position in the side for 2 of our main signings in Willock or El Ghazi - well neither of them are currently demanding a place in the side so would it be worth looking at again?

    something like:

    Alnwick

    Ng Goutas Daland

    Tanner Siopis Robertson Bagan

    Colwill

    Robinson Etete/Davies

obviously once Etete or Davies are fit again.

I think all of our striking options are better playing as part of a 2. Tanner and Bagan have the engines needed to get forward and support the attacks. Daland and Ng both able to pass or bring the ball out from the back.

I've been wondering whether we need a change of formation. My main reservation with 3-5-2 is regarding our wing backs. I think Bagan is better suited to left centre back and Tanner may struggle at right wing back

Could deploy NG as the wing back and bring Will Fish in at CB if fit
