“From the first minute, it felt like we were playing better football. Everything seemed to come together, we got the first goal and just built from there. It was a really enjoyable afternoon.
“It was nice to get off the mark. I had my family here up in the stands which was nice; my uncle, my auntie, my grandad, cousins. They got to see my first goal which was a special moment.

“When they went down to 10 men, the game opened up a lot more. With players like myself, Robbo, Rubin [Colwill], Ollie [Tanner ] and people like Chris [Willock] coming on, everyone was flowing, playing with a bit of swagger which was nice to see. It allowed us to get five goals.
“We all understand each other at the minute which is good, and hopefully we can have a few more games like that and keep trying to climb up the league."
“At the minute, we’re locked off at the back and being creative up front. I think everyone’s just enjoying playing their football, playing with each other and we’ve just got to keep going.
“It was obviously tough at first - it’s always tough moving somewhere new, but the boys were great and welcomed me really well. I just got to play football, and that’s the main thing. Hopefully I can keep pushing on and doing well because that’s all I want to do.”
“Dave [Turnbull] is an unbelievable player. Technically he is unreal and just so easy to play with. So are the other two, but Dave brings that technical elegance. He makes it easy to play with him; we can bounce the ball off each other.
“We feel good in ourselves, and we've been getting a little more freedom. You saw that whenever Ollie or Rubin had the ball - they just wanted to attack, which is where the goals came from today.”
