Turnbull played a blinder yesterday

Deeper , stronger in the tackle , distributing

I personally have always thought he was going to take time to settle and also wasn't given enough of a chance by us as fans ....and of course maybe he's in a role that he and we were not expecting ?

Of course we need more performances like this from him

But what about Chambers ?

Is he going to be a decent player for us ?

Maybe he's finding it difficult to settle ?

We have these players .....and I add Meite and Kanga here ....on our books that may not be world beaters but they surely have something?

Some players settle quicker than others. I remember not being impressed by Mark Hudson when he first joined - taught me an important lesson that.

You weren't alone in that. Sometimes centrebacks work better alongside certain players as well. I recall both Darren Purse and Roger Johnson being good partners with Glenn Loovens but they weren't that good together.

What will help is a regular centreback pairing so whoever they end up being can learn each other's games.

You weren't alone in that. Sometimes centrebacks work better alongside certain players as well. I recall both Darren Purse and Roger Johnson being good partners with Glenn Loovens but they weren't that good together.

What will help is a regular centreback pairing so whoever they end up being can learn each other's games.

Even I've only seen them briefly id say long term our best pairing will be the 2 that didn't feature - Dalaand / Fish.

Goutas is play much better mind and doesn't deserve to lose his place.
