They needed to replace Benzema, not buy another (inferior) Vinicius Jr.

I fin it very strange this "turning on Bale" from Real Madrid fans. I go to Spain 4 times per year and have been for a number of years. When catching a taxi, speaking to a barman or waiter etc, I always ask them who they support. For the majority it's Real Madrid, who I suppose are Spain's answer to Man Utd or Liverpool. When I say "Viva Gareth Bale", and explain that he is from my home city of Cardiff, not one RM supporter has dissed him. Infact, it is the complete opposite, with each an every Spaniard complementing him for what he did for their team when playing. They know of his love for golf and Wales, but they are also aware of what he gave to the Madrid team.

I think a lot of the toxicity is Marc’s and their fans online.
