There’s an episode of the West Wing where CJ compares something to the punch Ali never threw as Foreman was falling to the floor - even when he wasn’t throwing punches, he was pure class.

The best sportsperson of my lifetime? Maybe. The most significant of my lifetime? Certainly.

He was a flawed human being in some ways, but the notion of Ali as President of the United States at one time makes more sense to me than Donald Trump getting the job once, let alone twice.

Never mind the punch I noticed the gun sticking out of the belt of the guy in the green shirt dancing around at the end

Aaron Sorkin may take credit for that but Norman Mailer wrote about it first, in his book 'The Fight'.
Mailer said that Ali withheld the final punch as it would have looked clumsy and destroyed the aesthetic of George going down to the perfect knockout.
