That’s always the big issue with them, we have to many players who just seem injury prone. Add ODowda, Ramsey.

Riza always seems to be on top of things in his comments. I know Bulut didn't have a perfect grasp of English but, hell, there's a world of difference between them judging by their press conferences. Bulut sounded clueless.

I like the way he looks directly into the eyes of whoever asks the questions. He doesn't look away, or blink, which could be a sign that he isn't genuine in his answers. I think it also shows confidence on his behalf, even though this is probably a new and potentially uncomfortable experience for him; but week by week I see him grow more into the role of a 1st team manager.

He often talks about having honest and open discussions with players and staff. He also mentions everybody at the club from the players, through the coaching staff, through to the chefs whenever there is praise to be given; which made me think about our Neil's peoples approach to man management.

From personal experience I had a manager, where I used to work, where he knew everyone by name and he had the ability to talk to everyone on the same level... and more importantly actually listen to whatever the "underling" was saying... so much so that weeks later he would be able to ask, "how was your Nephew's, dog's, bad leg, after?". It might seem flippant, but I observed how highly people thought of this manager.

So far I like what I see from the first team, and while there is still a bit to go... as it stands, long may he run.

Riza might be a really nice guy, he could be a very honest individual, his press conferences maybe a little bit of inexperience or someone who is completely confident in himself
The hard facts are that this is a results business.
I don’t expect us to win every game, but I do expect us to try and win every game!!!

So far his approach has worked and it’s been great to see, if he gets the managers job, he’ll have earned it.

As pleased as I have been watching us actually playing proper football, I still think it’s only right that the board hold off making any final decision about the managers role.

If we continue to do well, finishing strongly with some home grown youngsters developing, then he’s got himself in to a very strong bargaining position to negotiate a better long term contract

We've been a bit unlucky, which is a blow, Davies would probably fit in nicely into this team, never mind onwards and upwards.

That's a great post and true, people take to a Manager that shows he cares and wants you to succeed.

He is excellent in the press conferences, I like the humor, when they ask how long until Etete's back he laughs and says well last week it was about four weeks, so now it's three weeks, not nasty just funny.

I think he would now, I don’t think Bulut would have played him upfront though.

He never seems to be fit for us, yet in Belgium he seemed to have a good run.

I think he played up front in pre season didn't he? against kortrijk possibly

And he did seem to be in Bulut's plans from one or two things he said

One goal off the side of his back, will be followed by a towering header and a twenty yard overhead kick (Baylo style) into the top corner, where the Norwich goalie will get a fingertip on it just enough for it to go in, via the underside of the crossbar.

Fans will be on the pitch at the end of the game, carrying him off on their shoulders and Ollie Tanner will be doing the ooooray, ooooray fist pump for those who are still in the stand.

Some fans will say that it wasn’t a perfect hat-trick because the goalie should have saved the third one.
