Very slowly Riza seems to be working out who he can play and who is unplayable. Hopefully the non appearance of Kanga and Meite is a good sign.

I agree, in all fairness he probably needed a little bit of time to see how things panned out

Yes, a word for Ashford who didn’t look anywhere near as out of place as those two have when they came on.

He looked ready to take the opportunity, and that’s what matters, as professional players the likes of Meite and Kanga should at least look like they can fit in, when called upon.

Knowing that they are slipping down the pecking order will have an effect on any player worth their salt in my view.

Either it will be enough of a challenge for them to raise their game, or they will be looking at the exit door in January

From what I’ve seen, I just don’t think either of them are capable of improving enough to warrant a place in this squad

Riza has performed a fantastic turnaround in performance and results, but to get a tune out of those two, he would need to be a miracle worker
