Football League World looks at Cardiff City's average home attendance this season compared to 10 years ago

Unfortunately whoever wrote that nonsense is comparing average Championship attendances 10 years ago with the average attendance this season including Carabao Cup. The more appropriate comparison is that this season we are around 19.5k attendances compared to 21k the season after we had been relegated from the PL.

I looked at our home Championship attendance figures on the BBC match reports (Middlesbrough was exactly 18000 which may be an estimate) and the mean average of those seven figures is 19,499.

Which is pretty decent considering how dreadful the football had been until Bulut got the bullet.

The away support has been superb at home games this season so far , which helps a lot
