That's a separate question, I doubt we will. That said it's an avenue that can be exploited if we perform well, thus these are not glorified friendlies.

            Re: Wales

Bellamy still saying Colwill has a lot to learn and he also talked of him in terms of playing a deeper role - must say central midfield looks an easier way into the Welsh starting line up on a regular basis for Colwill than attacking midfield.

I support both in equal measure. It IS possible if you are clever.

It’s not mutually exclusive apparently. Following Wales has a different vibe. And the possibility of tournaments.

We still have people on here who really don’t appreciate how skilful he is, let’s continue to focus on what he doesn’t do, it must make sense to some of them

                    Not at the races🤦*♂️🤦*♂️🤦*♂️

Colwill wasn't at the races on Saturday

Wether he was marked out of the game doubled up or things just didn't come off plenty of city commented on Colwill

                      He's a very good player and he's a big boy now 👏

I think it's pretty obvious high up , if possible , is where he is most influential

Head Coach Craig Bellamy says he “would have expected more” from Rubin Colwill at his age after recalling him to the Wales squad for their final two Nations League games ⚽ #BBCFootball https://t.co/9NrAi0aBaJ

How does this sit with you? Can’t he just say how well Ruben’s playing?

I think to be fair these microphones and interviews and pleads for comments come thick and fast

I wouldn't be surprised is Bellers has messaged Colwill to say " don't worry about all that word salad son 😉 , you are playing well ......early nights now or I will give you a bloody good leathering "

it always amazes me that people want city players to not play for Wales ( or the country they represent ) surely people cant ignore the fact that representing your county is the biggest honour you can get ? ? so we shouldn't want to deprive our city players of that

That depends if you are nationalistic or not

For lots of people the biggest honour would be winning the league with Cardiff or whatever team you support

I have more in common with fellow city fans than some Welsh man who supports Liverpool

In fact all the bandwagon jumpers from the media are one of the reasons some of us put club football first

Pompey , Leeds , Darlington etc ......same for many of them too

It's great to see Wales do well and of course it gives people great joy but it's not the holy grail

That's Cardiff City , for me
