Odd referee but equally poor for both sides pen miss was a bit of justice, did get his toe to the ball but not much, deffo a Homer decision.

I had the Exeter v Lincoln lunchtime game on Sky on, but it was more in the background really, poor game with not too many signs of a goal. Then it was Newport v Grimsby, pretty awful again with the first missed penalty of the day by County. I’m trying to find a stream of the France v Wales under 19 match, but no luck so far. If I can’t get one soon,I’ll watch either the T20 cricket or look for one of the Nations League matches.

Hopefully the cricket won’t end up 0-0!

Hard earned point, some good defending but saying we were second best would be kind, was a bit of a turkey shoot but thankfully they couldn't finish.

We were away from home in an intimidating atmosphere, with the onus on the home team to get a win.

We were under the cosh.

We defended very well.

Yet, away from home, we hit the post and had a goal disallowed.

They had a penalty, missed, that was debatable at best.

By my recollection, our goalkeeper made one great save… was their player offside anyway when he made that save?

Yes, they couldn’t finish, but that was down to our resolute defending, which is part of a concerted team effort.

I wonder sometimes, given what was at stake, and what we saw, what more can be asked of everyone?

Yeah, Turkey had the majority of the chances but didn't do a huge amount with them. Both Brooks or Johnson had good chances in the box too but couldn't get a shot in.

Another excellent, battling display from Bellamy's Wales. The only shame is that we haven't guaranteed 2nd place but I guess it is more exciting going into Tuesday with the possibility of finishing 1st,2nd or 3rd.

It is exciting watching Bellamy’s Wales and that was an excellent performance. They have players at top clubs whereas we had a lot of championship and reserve team players out there giving their all and playing brave football

Very encouraging. We have matched Turkey over our two games with them. We looked a solid international side tonight. We can still win the group.

I will never pretend to fully understand the Nation's League but I think :

finishing second would mean a promotion playoff against a third placed team from League 1.

finishing third would mean a relegation playoff against a second place team from League 3.

Promotion into League 1 would then massively increase the chances of world cup qualification from next year's nations league.

I could very easily be wrong though!

A Play Off with one of the third placed teams in the Group A section with the winner being given a place in the top section which should mean that they are number one seeds for the next major Finals draw. Losing to Iceland, would see us going into a relegation Play Off with a second placed team in the Group C section.

Very creditable draw for unbeaten Wales, but they could still get relegated from Nations League group.
