  • Mathematically what do we need?

Rough mathematical calculations. Finishing points tally are taken as averages in this division since 1995. Wins required are a estimate allowing for draws and defeats. 30 games to go.

Top 2 finish - 87 points. 71 more points needed or 2.34 per game. 22 wins.

Top 6 finish - 74 points. 58 more points needed or 1.93 per game. 17 wins.

Top half finish - 62 points. 46 more points needed or 1.53 per game. 12 wins.

Survival - 49 points. 33 more points needed or 1.1 per game. 9 wins.

We have to win the six-pointers against teams around us, it makes a huge difference depriving them of three and adding three to us.

Two wins in the next two games and the panic stops, but two losses
