Does anyone at the club see what's going on at these clubs and bother to think "why couldn't we do that"? If Tan is really losing £1m a month, why doesn't he think about hiring an analyst to investigate every decision made over the last 10 years? Don't they realise or care that something is terribly wrong with the way this club is being run and it needs radical change?

Re: Forest, Brighton, Brentford etc
Well we know why Brighton and Brentford are doing well. Forest for a bit lucky imo, cooper got them promoted when it seemed unlikely, they chucked money at it and did well to get santo.
I’m sure clubs have also gone the other way to league one as well.

True, but even City's set of fuucking chimps wouldn't look at the likes of Wigan, Bolton and Blackpool and think "I wonder what they're doing right to be in League One?"Originally posted by 2b2bdoo View PostWell we know why Brighton and Brentford are doing well. Perhaps they actually are?

But if you have people who know what they're doing, they can implement what parts they think works within their organisationOriginally posted by 2b2bdoo View PostThe point is it’s not as easy as to say let’s just copy them, otherwise everyone would do it.

Nobody at City haven't.Originally posted by Rjk View PostYes brilliant idea, lets just do a Brighton. I can't believe nobody has thought of this before.
It's always been a shiit show but in these days of clubs having an identity and strategy City's is a fuucking joke.
You'd think the powers that be would look at other clubs and perhaps employ someone who knew football and what the fuuck they were doing?
There's no guarantee even if that did happen but as City currently are...

It’s finding those people though isn’t it. Man United recently paid Newcastle a fortune for Dan Ashworth as sporting director and have already paid him up 6 months later.Originally posted by Eric the Half a Bee View PostBut if you have people who know what they're doing, they can implement what parts they think works within their organisation
I don’t disagree and the way we are run doesn’t work but I don’t think it’s as easy as “just get someone in”

Funnily the transfer process seems more aligned to that, pay fees for players who can improve and increase in value.Originally posted by Jordi Culé View PostNobody at City haven't.

Bring in experienced on frees for no fees.
Sadly the balance is all wrong and we have no one heading it up.
