Stoke City forum, dear God, it’s quite toxic. Many posters not happy that they equalised. They want a clear out at the top more than us. Always like to have a glimpse at our opponents messageboards after we’ve played them, very often an interesting read.

Re: The Oatcake
'If they mean board level they've got it quite good. They have owners who are fans, are stinking rich and willing to plough millions into the club.'
And yet, on yesterday's evidence, their team is rubbish, the fans want the manager sacked, and there's a toxic atmosphere at home games. It's a funny old game.

Re: The Oatcake
After we beat them 2-1 away in 2020 in a game that Vokes missed a pen, I paid a visit to their forum and to this day it's the most toxic and hate-filled I've ever come across. If you think that Bacuna and Kanga have been the subjects of verbal bashing on here, what they wanted to do to Vokes following that defeat was mostly unprintable.Originally posted by splott parker View PostStoke City forum, dear God, it’s quite toxic. Re: The Oatcake
As we said in another thread fans of their own clubs like to think they have it so much worse than everyone else.Originally posted by PontBlue View PostIf they mean board level they've got it quite good. They have owners who are fans, are stinking rich and willing to plough millions into the club.
Lots on here genuinely seem to think other clubs fans would be feeling sympathy for how bad our board and owners are.
The rebrand really was exceptional as no other examples anything like that but that was reversed nearly 10 years ago now and in terms of overall running i doubt anyone else gives us a 2nd thought.

Re: The Oatcake
We are. The Championship is never great but seems particularly bad this year. No team completely cut away like Rotherham were but many very poor teams.Originally posted by Jimmy the Jock View PostI watched the game on a stream with local radio Stoke commentators .
They were negative to the extreme about Stoke ,chuffed that they were getting out of their own half for a change in a game.
We aren't that bad .
Any team who can do the absolute basics like warnock instills will be safe mid table.
I know goals aren't caused by good defending but look how bad the recent goals we have given away are. Comical.

Generally doesn’t matter who the owner is, fans just want success. Like with us, protests about Tan into happen when we struggle.Originally posted by D. We got promoted in red and protests started when we were going down.
It’s just what it is.

The commentators effectively noted that Stoke were able to have more success playing against us rather than their usual opponents.Originally posted by Jimmy the Jock View PostI watched the game on a stream with local radio Stoke commentators .
