    Good fun.

    Spurs 3 - 0 up then implode in defence and it's now 3 - 2.

    20 mins to go

Carragher has a point, I see it at JPL ( and academy ) games, they are coached to play a certain way ( currently its the keep the ball at all costs even if its 30 pass's around the back 4 )
A player who thinks for himself and does something a little different is having that coached out of him / her

Crazy to try and continue to play like that with a keeper that just can't do it, his confidence is shot to bits.

Surely you're not still a fanboy of Bulut's, Mozzer?

Most sense I’ve heard in months. Let’s just take City and Wales. They have a habit, even when under immense pressure, to keep
Making things even harder by playing out and given the ball away within 30 yards of goal. WBA, Montenegro and Iceland are examples in recent times.

think its about time we moved on from bulut

but my recollection is Bulut punched above his weight and exceeded most expectations certainly mine .Finishing top half was a major achievement considering we should have been playing league 1 football last season technically

Most of us have, but you brought him up again for no apparent reason.

Bulut was responsible for some of the most boring, cowardly, defensive football I’ve ever seen from a City team. He oversaw the worst start to a season in the club’s entire history and the team he left behind is really poor. His contract renewal was a dreadful mistake.

If every manager followed Ange, football would be a lot more entertaining.

I like football less now than I can ever remember, and not just cos we’re in a bad patch. Games at the top level are just boring, everyone’s super fit. I used to watch game after game, now it’s on in the background, unless it’s a real game like this one last night.

i used to say the same when Warnock was the gaffa !

when i look back at the Bulut project the board made a massive mistake at the end of last season . the prolonging of keeping him on was a mistake .the board should have made a decision straight away after the season finished hence the signings in the summer was too late

Naff all to do with the signings. We'd been rubbish for 6 months before the end of the season

It's a fair point though. The bulut call should have been made before the season ended one way or another. Waiting for so so so long was the worst of all worlds.

Just like with riza now leaving it in limbo then ending up with him anyway is worst of all worlds once again.

Which is why this season is the one we go down as when we sack riza in January we will do the same again.
