Was there ever any explanation from anywhere as to why Bilic wouldn’t be available until January?

Personally, I’ve always thought it was nonsense. Even Tan and his minions wouldn’t be so daft as to announce Riza as the manager until the end of the season if they already had Bilic lined up for January. And the notion of them having anyone lined up under any circumstances is the stuff of fantasy.

Funniest thing was the walesonline club mouthpiece suggesting bilic was hanging about as back up. :xmashehe::facepalm:

I don't believe the Bilic will be our manager either. But the reason for a delay until January could have something to do with FFP. The club might want to transfer some players out of the club either by selling or loaning to make room in the budget to employ Bilic until the end of the season

As said I don't think it will happen but if somehow it does then the explanation for the delay might be the above
